One of my favorite buys at Gold Rush this year was an oak and iron coat/hat rack for the wall. As soon as Marian pointed it out to me, I knew it was coming home with me. It was a bit dirty and the wood was dry, so I wiped it down and put some Miss Mustard Seed Hemp Oil on it to perk it up.
I had two options for where I wanted to hang it.
Going down the stairs to our front door is where it is for now.
My other option is in the front foyer.
But two of them would look better, and I already have hooks in the foyer.
If I had only picked up the exact same one at the “other” Gold Rush
at the Fairgrounds the next day I’d be all set for the foyer.
Unfortunately, when I went back to the vendor to purchase the 2nd one, it was gone.
I really like it where I have it now, I can see it from
the foyer, the kitchen, the dining area, and the great room.
So until I come across another one or two, I’ll just keep enjoying it here.
