Sunday evening….
What a fun and exciting last 5 days we’ve had here! Here’s a quick re-cap..

Wednesday…
Last HS football game of season and watching Danae dance and going to VanNurden’s for the after game buffet. Kirk and Nate picked up Cara at Bethel U around 1:00 a.m. Her friends had p icked her up at the airport and they all hung out together til Kirk got there. Kirk, Nate and Cara arrived home at 3:00 a.m. (I woke up, hugged Cara…and went back to sleep)
Thursday..
I worked til noon then came home grocery shop and start preparing food for the rehearsal dinner on Friday that I was in charge of for Brianna’s wedding. We had our regular “Girls Night In” Thurs. evening and I kept making meatballs for the spaghetti….then the sauce.

Friday…
8:00 am Cara and I met Jackie and Brie at Sam’s Club to pick up the flower order for the wedding. Jackie took the flowers on to the church…Cara and I came home and I made the desserts for the dinner and I gathered my stuff to do the flowers at the church.
12:15 pm Cara and I head to the church and have lunch with Jackie and her family and others who were helping to decorate the church.
12:30….I start doing corsages, boutinnieres, bridesmaid bouquets and the bride bouquet, and the church decorations.
6:00 …. I take a break to put dinner on. The rehearsal dinner is at 7:30.
Dinner is homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs, salad, bread, pumpkin bars/apple slices.
7:45….I get back to working on the church flowers. Thankfully there were some wonderful family of the bride helping me with dinner and they did all the clean-up so I could finish the flowers.
10:00….Home…and make the arrangements for the cake. Bedtime.

Saturday…
9:00 at the reception hall to do the flower arrangements for the tables.
noon….check on the flowers at the church with the wedding party…head home around 1:00pm.
3:00…WEDDING
5:30 RECEPTION …and dancing til my knees ached. It was so much fun!
11:30 home and bed.

Sunday…
9:30 church
11:00 Lunch with Cara and Danae at Noodles
12:00 DJ & I take Cara to Minneapolis airport to go back to Cincinnati.
3:00 Home & Nap!!!
Blog….then clean house and read?? (or laundry)

What a fun and exciting weekend! So good to be with our friends…and doing things I love to do.
While I was setting up the flowers at the reception hall, a bride and her mother came in to look at the facilities and asked me if I would do her wedding flowers next September!!! (I gave her my phone and email address…so we’ll see!)

Jackie….thanks for the beautiful COACH purse…I love it. (I’ll be getting that massage soon!). But mostly…thank you for letting me serve you and your family with my gifts…it was a joy. You have a wonderful extended family and friends (I expected nothing less) and it was so fun to meet them all and work side-by-side with them. My special thanks to Sharlyn, Mary Jo, Julie and Julie’s mom!

Leaving the dreamworld of the last few days behind…..I head into the work week…..
