They’re driving . . .

CheriGENERAL

These two are on the road.
Driving.
From Cincinnati > through Indiana > then Illinois > followed by Wisconsin > then crossing the mighty Mississippi into Minnesota > and picking up brother in Winona > and hoping he will drive the last 50 minutes of the trip.

Oh how I hate it when the kids are on the road.
Especially at night.
Especially when it is a very long trip.
I’ll be dozing on the couch waiting – it’s what I do – so I know when they are home.
Then I hug them,  make sure they don’t need anything — and finally sleep.

Until they are here I won’t sleep very well.
I’ll wake up every so often – and pray that God will keep them alert – and safe.
They probably won’t get here until about 2 or 3 am.   Kids these days.

Gabby probably won’t even budge off our bed — she doesn’t like to get up in the middle of the night.  DIY Guy – he won’t have any trouble sleeping either.

Off to the couch I go.
Good-night.
