Ca-per
– verb (used without object)
1.  a. prank or trick; harebrained escapade.
Exhibit # 1:
A simple silk hydrangea and (real) pheasant feather arrangement in antique basket.
Exhibit #2
Energetic Yorkshire Terrier (with delusions of being a hunting dog)
No longer being able to withstand the temptation of the pheasant feathers within such close proximity, the Yorkie takes matters into her own hands paws.
And takes care of that (headless/bodyless) pheasant once and for all.
The long days alone at home can do that to a dog.  Even one that has never done such destruction before.  Must have been the pheasant scent aroused the latent primal Yorkie hunting instinct.
It’s a dog’s life, I’ll tell ya.
