Some gifts you receive because someone felt obligated to give you a gift…. and they really didn’t have a clue what to give you. Then there are the gifts you receive that are clearly given with thought of who you are, and what you’d like. Gifts that say the person knows you.
My kids did a great job of gifting this year.
For their dad’s gift, they donated some chickens in his name to World Vision. The kids know that dad is passionate about helping those in need.
Their gift of two chickens will provide a family with a lasting source of nutrition and income. Fresh eggs raise the levels of protein and other nutrients in a familyās diet, and the sale of extra eggs provides money for other household needs.
Cara made me a photo book . . .
The awesome part of the photo book is that she used one of my blog entries from November, 2008 for the photos and text.
It was her favorite blog entry….and one of my favorites too —
It’s really neat to see my blog “published” !
If you click “here“, you can see the blog she made the book from.
Nate and Danae know I love the music of Rascal Flatts.
So they bought me a Rascal Flatts CD!
I’m listening to it now š
Thanks kids!
