Work Week – Day 3

CheriGENERAL

Day 3 – Monday

We started the day with a quick birthday celebration for Cara.  Tim’s parents, sister and (baby) nephew arrived bright and early with breakfast.  Visiting with family over coffee and cuddling with a sweet baby boy, it was tempting to linger all morning.  However, with a Friday deadline looming to get the house ready for a housewarming party, we couldn’t afford to burn more daylight, so we hugged good-bye and got busy on the kitchen.

Moving boxes out

clearing the floor and counters

Stirring the paint

 Paint:  “Mariner” by Sherwin-Williams

Mr. D did the rolling

Cara and I did the cutting in.
Lots of cutting in!
We also put a fresh coat of  bright white paint on the trim and wainscoting.

The kitchen went from blah
to bright

Taking pictures at night doesn’t do the color justice —
The color is light and bright … and oh so cheerful!
