My mom is the youngest of two children. Two girls.
No boys.
The two girls had six girls between them.
No boys.
No nephews.
No brothers.
When we get together, it’s a high estrogen event.

Aunt Sally turned 79 in May.
Mom hosted a beautiful birthday luncheon for her sister.

The food was nothing short of amazing!
The table was beautifully adorned
the tablescape stunning.
Each place setting had an antique photo paper weight
with different photos of our grandmother and grandfather
— gifts from my mom to each of us.
Mom also gave each of us the photos of grandma & grandpa
that weren’t in our paperweight, so we would all have a copy of each photo
My favorite part of the meal?
Fresh strawberry pie!
What can I say, I have a sweet tooth!
