With all the wedding planning and execution, we didn’t have much down time this summer. So, when friends invited us back to their cabin on Battle Lake we welcomed the opportunity.
Early Friday morning 4 adults and 4 canines loaded in a minivan and drove north. Mr. D was very hesitant about taking Nike along. We all were very thankful that the doggies got along and that Nike was very well behaved. Nike easily transitioned from Reservation life to cabin life.

the four adults transitioned to lake living within minutes
our morning coffee view made it very easy
to wake up every morning.
But then, it’s much easier to wake up when you can sleep in!
Monday morning was a tad bit painful today.
