Mr. D has been working very hard around The Cottage lately getting the yard ship shape for the wedding. He has been “walking” the yard and spraying weeds, fertilizing the yard, digging up sod, tilling the garden, planting the garden (with my help) and putting in new landscaping.
We started a landscape project over Memorial Day weekend

When the mulch goes down, I’ll show you the finished product.
Time keeps ticking away — the list is long — but we are slowly and surely checking items off.
We have 9 weekends left before the wedding — minus 1 that Mr. D will be in St. Louis — so 8 weekends. I think clearing the garage could take up about 7 of those weekends and one weekend will be used for painting the front door and shutters.
I better get to baking this weekend too!
