Those of you who have been following this blog for any length of time have watched (and read) as I changed jobs a couple, a few, ok – several times over the past few years. Those of you who know me have heard all the reasons for the job changes. I’m not going to go into the reasons. They really don’t matter. What matters, for me, was finding a job that would bring in some doh-ray-me while at the same time allow the flexibility that Mr. D and I find somewhat necessary these days, and be a job that I enjoy.
I can tell you . . .
that is one difficult dance card to fill!
However.
I do believe my dance card is now complete!
As of Monday I have been driving the country roads to my
NEW JOB!
It’s a humble office,
in an incredible location
that goes on and on with green skyscrapers
and flowing rivers.
A short, stress-free 20 minute drive from The Cottage
is a place called
I am excited to say that this piece of Heaven on Earth — Camp Victory
is where I GET to work every day!
I have always loved camp
and have worn many hats at many different camps over the years.
Hats that include: student camper, counselor, leader, youth director,
coordinator, and program director.
Now I get to work AT camp!
I’m the Director’s assistant.
I work part-time.
The job is flexible.
The people are wonderful.
I love the work I’m doing.
I am a happy camper!
