Mantel party

CheriGENERAL

My mantel is an ever changing art venue, especially at the change of seasons.  It isn’t unusual for it to evolve as the season progresses either.  Today it looks like this….

But, two days ago it only had one tree.  The tree on the left replaced a white ceramic pitcher filled with greens.  There may still be a little tweaking left to do … possibly another whimsical garland to add a little more fullness, or bring the pitcher back.  Or add some rice lights.  Definitely will put some fresh pine boughs in the containers.

Trees are from IKEA, white pine cones (have lights inside) are from Fleet Farm, whimsical garland from A Cut Above Home, deer were bought at Hobby Lobby on clearance several  years ago. I picked up the large cup at a thrift store years ago, the pitcher is from HomeGoods.

Stone garland … made from twine and my stone collection from Lake Michigan.

Since I’ve been looking at all the beautiful mantels at the Lettered Cottage blog, I’ve been inspired to do a few more tweaks!  Maybe this weekend šŸ™‚

I’m joining up with The Lettered Cottage Holiday Home Link Party and sharing our fireplace mantel this year.  Would love to have you join too!  Head on over for loads of holiday cheer and tons of inspiration!
