Our chickens are here!
We finished the coop by 7:30 tonight then went to my co-worker’s house to get the baby chicks from him. I was going to get 4 very young chicks…but when I saw the “teenager” buff color hen, I changed my mind. I love the buff color…and this one will lay bigger eggs than the others. The little ones still need a heat lamp so we hooked one up in the coop and they are all snug as bugs in a rug! Actually…no snug bugs in there…the chickens are eating them!

It is already fun ….I was afraid the older one wouldn’t be as tame…but she is…so, come see our feathered friends ….they need visitors to be tame!
