The Earth Laughs In Flowers Ralph Waldo Emerson This petunia “volunteer” showed up between the pavers around the pool. It’s pretty hard not to smile at the tenacity (can flowers be tenacious?) of the little bloom. Of course if I had tried to plant petunia seeds in a pot — they wouldn’t have grown.
