Where You Go, I Will Go

CheriGENERAL

“I, Cheri, take you, Kirk; to be my wedded husband; and I do promise and covenant; before God and these witnesses; to be thy loving and faithful wife.  In plenty and in want; in joy and in sorrow; in sickness and in health.

Where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay.  Your people will be my people and your God my God, as long as we both shall live.”
“This ring without beginning or ending is the symbol of my undying love for you.  In token and pledge of our constant and abiding love, with this ring I thee wed, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”
Those were the vows we said to each other, 27 years ago today.  Word for word, we memorized them and said them to each other rather than repeat them.  (insane & crazy kids that we were!)
Twenty-seven years have flown by, but the love and commitment has increased.   Happy Anniversary to US!
