Ingredients

Oatmeal

Brown sugar

coconut

powdered milk

wheat germ

pecans (or almonds) | chopped

vegetable oil

honey

chopped, dry dates, cranberries or raisins

Instructions
Preheat oven to 300°
Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Do not add dried fruit until after baking.
Stir together all liquid ingredients in a separate bowl
Combine ingredients thoroughly, then spread on 2 large cookie sheets lined with parchment paper
Bake at 300° for 20-25 minutes, STIR every 10 minutes.
Watch closely at end of baking because it browns quickly and you don't want it to burn.
Cool on cookie sheets. Break into smaller pieces.
Add desired dried fruit.
Store in air tight container after cooling.
