- Preheat oven to 300°
- Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Do not add dried fruit until after baking.
- Stir together all liquid ingredients in a separate bowl
- Combine ingredients thoroughly, then spread on 2 large cookie sheets lined with parchment paper
- Bake at 300° for 20-25 minutes, STIR every 10 minutes.Watch closely at end of baking because it browns quickly and you don't want it to burn.
- Cool on cookie sheets. Break into smaller pieces.Add desired dried fruit.
- Store in air tight container after cooling.
