After I began making granola the other day, I realized I should share my recipe with you! I didn’t take photos along the way, but this recipe is pretty straightforward. It’s a quick post today so you can get in the kitchen and make granola!
Famous Minnesota Lodge Granola
I’ve been told a well-known Minnesota Lodge on Lake Superior serves a similar version of this recipe. I’ve never visited the lodge, but if I do, I plan to try their granola to compare the two recipes.
Granola with yogurt and fresh peaches
The granola tastes amazing on yogurt, on top of oatmeal, or eaten like cereal with milk on top. My favorite way to enjoy it is with fresh peaches and yogurt, though I am happy with any fresh fruit!
Any dried fruit such as chopped dates, cranberries, cherries, raisins can be added after removing from the oven. The dates are my favorite — with extra chopped pecans!
The granola makes a perfect hostess gift. I like to present the granola in cute bags with “windows” or a jar with a lid. Filling a basket with granola, fruit, jam, and Oui yogurt is also a fun way to gift someone. Tip: you can purchase lids for the Oui yogurt jars on Amazon.
I’d love to hear if you try the granola recipe and what your favorite way to eat it is!
