Thanksgiving was home in Minnesota this year.
In the previous two years, we have traveled to Jacksonville, Florida to spend the week with Nate. This year we traded a beach for snow – because we are waiting on our fifth grandchild to make an appearance here in town. While we would have loved to have all our children and grandchildren here we loved having our friends join us.
We had a lovely afternoon and evening with our growing Minnesota family
and our friends the Parsons.
Inviting others into our home for holidays and really any time is normal.
Memories were made, traditions continued, friendships deepened.
Games were played, football was watched, silliness happened.
Though we couldn’t be with all our immediate or extended family for the holiday we cherished the time we enjoyed with the friends and family we gathered with.
We have so much to be thankful for,
