Homemade Guacamole

Cara's Guacamole

Course: Appetizer, dip, Snack, superbowl
Cuisine: Mexican

Ingredients
  

  • 6 medium Avocados
  • 1/2 large red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • limes, juiced
  • Coarse salt

Method
 

  1. Remove avocados from skin, removing pit and add to a medium bowl.
  2. Mash avocados with potato masher, bottom of a cup, or a fork
  3. Add finely chopped red onions to avocados
  4. Add jce of 1½ limes to mixture
  5. Add 1-2 large pinches of salt to mixture
  6. Chop and add cilantro to mixture
  7. Lightly stir all ingredients together and adjust salt if needed.

Notes

Spread this guacamole on toast and sprinkle it with everything -but-the-bagel seasoning for a delicious breakfast! 
Also delicious with an easy over egg on top of the toast
